This sliding transfer bench is designed to help individuals move safely over the edge of a bathtub. The seat slides along a sturdy aluminum rail, allowing the user to sit down outside the tub and then glide into the bathing area. This significantly reduces the risk of falls associated with stepping over high tub walls.
In addition to the sliding motion, the seat also swivels 360 degrees to make positioning even easier. This dual-action design provides maximum flexibility for users with limited leg strength or balance issues. The bench is built with a high weight capacity and features non-slip feet to ensure it remains stationary during the transfer process.
The frame is adjustable in height to accommodate different bathtub sizes and user requirements. This medical-grade seat is a vital tool for maintaining independence in the bathroom. It is part of this set of mobility aids that focus on providing a secure and controlled way to access the shower or bath.
